The route passes through, in this order: Košťany (km 8) and Dubí (km 8). Some stretches get properly steep.

The route passes Kahleberg (peak, km 5). The course partly follows waymarked trails (Kammweg Erzgebirge - Vogtland (Ost), Europäischer Fernwanderweg E3, Sachsen (Ost), Fernwanderweg Zittau – Wernigerode (Sachsen Ost)). Viewpoints along the route: km 4, 5, 8 and 2 more.

The surface is varied, ranging from compacted gravel to asphalt. The route stays almost entirely clear of built-up areas.
