Viewpoints along the route: Kleine Bastei (viewpoint, km 1), Aussichtspunkt Wolfsberg (viewpoint, km 11), Kanigstein (viewpoint, km 14) and 1 more. Huts and shelters along the route: km 6 and 8.

The surface is varied, ranging from dirt track to asphalt. Sizeable stretches pass through built-up areas.
